I just finished up a presentation on insider threats at the e-crime Congress in London - Victoria Park Plaza. This is my third year presenting at this event, and it seems to get better every year. There were hundreds of attendees with a common thread of interest: cyber crime.
While my presentation was focused on technical and non-technical aspects of insider threats, I demonstrated several hacking techniques related to application and database attacks. Sever people mentioned that this was the first time they had ever seen such attacks, so I think a little hacking "how to" proved useful.
Many of the conversations after the presentation with audience members and the press were focused on data protection in distributed environments - a subject that the Imperva SecureSphere DAM solution is particularly well suited to address.
A few more meetings, then I will be off to Frankfurt Germany.
