"Thanks" posts are not welcome. Don't do it.

If you really want to say thanks (and not just increase the amount of posts you have), then say WHY you like it. Otherwise, we know what you're trying to do.

You don't get promoted based on # of posts alone; we review all posts for quality. And if you're a "thanker," you become a tanker. Don't be surprised to find your account gone.

I dont know if InvisionBoard allows this, but what should be done is before anyone is able to post something a little banner pops up listing the post rules. That way they cant say they havnt read the rules and be warned or banned automatically by a moderator. No more BS, you break the rules, you are out(well maybe only for thanks posts). This is getting rediculous....

and Glyph, on the topic of education...I blame the parents for not making education a priority and not willing to put out the effort to see their children get good grades...they just dont want to be bothered because nowadays its all about "me" and what "I" want....(there are exceptions of course)

I have come to the conclusion that either GSO Trial Members are either stupid or cannot read...

Come on guys, do you like being here at GSO? If so, you better shape up because if you continue you will get kicked out.

Here are some pointers for posting:

1) Search for your topic on GSO BEFORE posting!
2) Read the comments ahead of yours and get the jist of the conversation.

I agree, close this thread already. It's basically 5 pages of "thanks" posts plus warnings. I don't see a good reason for leaving this thread open. Not many questions have been asked that are technical or require being solved. Oh and one thing I didn't get is why are the trial members posting "thanks" posts when they can't even download the files? Then it got to me, can some trial members download and others not? When I had the trial member status I could still download files from here and didn't have many privileges changed such as starting new topics Yeah the original point, close the thread if possible. Seems nobody is taking notice of the HUGE warning sign.
