Anyone know when/if the forum will be opening up again for new memberships?

A mate of mines been kicking himself for not signing up when he had the cahnce heh (told him about the forums last december lol)

I have a question. Do our accounts ever expire out of inactivity? I'd really like to stay atleast a trial member because my ship off date to the USAF is may 11th, and that's BMT time which is 6.5 weeks of total inactivity in this forum.

This website can be compared with securibox. I will not tell ya which one is better, because I still do not know it. I'm leaving a reply as a sign I have read all rules.

didn't dissolutions fill you in before he created your account ?

if you look you will see a trial members forum.... you can start threads in that section... but can only reply to other threads in other forums till you gain full status

A good reply means that its a reply that has some content to it. Instead of "Yea" or "Thanks" or "What do I do with this?" or "How do I haX0r?" which are all examples of poor replies.... actually replying with some thought and substanance behind what you say will go a long way.

Be intelligent, be polite, and try to help out those thoroughly with their questions, are all ways to make quality replies. Hardly unfair, just expected to create a quality community sharing information without all the bullcrap.

Re: Unfair - Yes it could be unfair if you look at it in the sense of one person viewing your post or posts but in general admin/mod team will look at your post/posts and I have yet to see a bias span the entire team (there hasn't been one yet.) So your fairly represented throughout. We believe to be as non-bias in approving accounts as possible. (And we do have criteria to what is a good post noted point number 2. )

Is it me, or does it sound like some people still don't get it??

Anyway,

I agree with one of the previous members when he said that this site is well worth $$$. I'm a corp. security guy (part of the whites but friends with many b\hats, my colour = grey I guess) and have found this site extremely useful. Not only from a learning stand point but the members here are extremely knowledgable and eager to help. I am one of the few corp. guys that I know willing to admit that we don't know everything!

I could do without the one-liner "Thanx" replies too!

I'm just a noob trial member, but the rules here are great. Gives you a chance to prove yourself and roots out the annoyances. Computer programming and security are still formidable to me, but this site has helped me greatly. (though it took a few hours to realize the strictness is GOOD, not mean)
