Geesh, Pike sounds like the unholy spawn of Satan.pike is a mix between c/c++ and java, darkbasic is for video games, and brainfuck isnt really much of a language, but if you look it up on google, you can see sample code.

it's really good for GUI's , {Actually I prefer the Ibasic - Dialog Editor} but for compiling Appz and Making Stand alone Exe's , {Shun VB} it's actually Very good..
and Free... was recommended it by Yorn sometime ago ... Although the I have a nice copy of Ibasic which is also Quite Simple to use... it's not free
as an example of the 'IF' statement in FBSL:
IF : Conditional statement Purpose : Will evaluate a condition thanks to the logical and/or binary evaluators present into FBSL. Syntax : IF( CONDITION1 [<,>, =, <>, OR, AND, BOR, BAND, XOR ] CONDITION2 ) ACTION IF( CONDITION1, [<,>, =, <>, OR, AND, BOR, BAND, XOR ] CONDITION2) IF( CONDITION3... ) ...can be encapsulated Parameters : CONDITION is an expression to evaluate : can be any kind of variable or function called ! OR is a logical OR BOR is a Binary OR XOR is an Exclusive OR AND is a logical AND BAND is a Binary AND Example : Dim %a Set %a = 15 IF ( %a < 10 ) Echo "Cool :)" IF ( %a > 10 ) Goto labelTest Print "Never afx'ed !" :labelTest Print "Goto jumped there :-)" This will output : Goto jumped there :-)
Nothing to complicated there ... will upload the help.chm file for you to see how easy it is... for yourself...has the download link to the lattest version also and yahoo Group for help....Yay!..lmao
Wkd...
someone got a good link to Darkbasic I'd be interested...

Tried looking at ASM before, damn that language is abstract with all its mov and push and pop...too much thinking like a machine for me. C++ is alot more straightforward with things like createprocess()..can't be simpler than that.

Another Oberon man, eh? Strange that I've never heard of some of these languages... are they limited in their use, or have they just not gathered enough of a following yet.Perl, C, C++, C#, assembler, cobol, oberon, pascal, batch, html, java, sql, php, vb.
