I read the article "Disabling Unnecessary and Dangerous Services" posted in 2003 in which Windows XP was often referred to..
Does the same list of services that the author reccommends be disalbed, apply to Windows 7?
Thank you, hayward

I know for a fact, that MS has stripped some services in Windows 7 that can be found in XP. For example, the telnet service found in XP by default doesn't exist in Windows 7. Your best option would be to have that list opened, while you have the list of services under Windows 7 opened, you can then compare which services are still there and which aren't.
