Hey guys,
I have a beginner question. I am trying to attack a local machine that is using linux. I nmap'ed the machine and found these open ports.
Starting Nmap 5.61TEST4 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2012-03-28 14:34 EDT
Nmap scan report for 192.168.1.3
Host is up (0.00047s latency).
Not shown: 977 closed ports
PORT STATE SERVICE
7/tcp open echo
9/tcp open discard
13/tcp open daytime
19/tcp open chargen
21/tcp open ftp
22/tcp open ssh
23/tcp open telnet
37/tcp open time
53/tcp open domain
79/tcp open finger
80/tcp open http
512/tcp open exec
513/tcp open login
514/tcp open shell
515/tcp open printer
873/tcp open rsync

5801/tcp open vnc-http-1

5903/tcp open vnc-3
6566/tcp open sane-port
MAC Address: 00:21:86:16:7F:A6 (Universal Global Scientific Industrial Co.)
I then search linux in msfconsole but was having trouble finding an applicable exploit. Can someone help me on better searching methods or an good exploit to use?
