Can you recommend any essential (but free) security tools to aid in performing security audits of corporate *nix servers?
Thanks

Metasploit
Saint
Sara
Nessus

Are these all free? And updated/supported tools, or are some a bit ancient?

SARA hasnt been updated since 2009 - not that that automatically makes it a bad tool?
Will these tools run from a workstation, or do they need a server to run?

I am so excited that I can't wait for the final version of backtrack to come out.
I am even planning on upgrading my laptop and wireless adapter.
