Force Enable For Directdraw And Directx

Ok, I would like to know how to force enable for DirectDraw in Windows XP Pro.
The Computer was able to play Halo CE, but now when we try to play it, we get an error saying DirectDraw does not work.
Well, i Googled around for the answer and all I really found was to reinstall DirectX.
So, I reinstalled directX and it still does not work.
Is there a way to enable it in the registry or is it something else thats going on?

Any help would be great.
