Configuring an application to use DEP and ASLR can be done by setting some flags in the PE file.
You can do this with a hex editor or a PE file editor.
But I've made a small command-line tool to do this; the advantage is that you can include it in your build process.
If you're interested, download setdllcharacteristics.
You can also use it to set the FORCE_INTEGRITY flag.
The tool can also clear the flags or just read them.
Written in standard C, can also be compiled on *nix.
