There is no reason to stay with them anymore if they are striving to copy the competition.
I am now completely going to take the step towards nix/mac I haven't decided which yet though.
It's sad they don't even try to hide the fact that its a rip off, I feel like this is just being aimed to the
masses now that haven't seen mac or nix and are scared to get off of Microsoft's dick.

What's wrong with making an improved XP OS? It doesn't needs to be all that finger-licking just because the mass thinks it's neccesary. It will just slow down PC's, forcing users to buy better PCs all for the sake of the OS. And the more advanced users just have to keep up eh

I agree man XP OS should not be dropped it should be furthered either way.
I think it would be for the better for XP source code to be leaked

Sometimes I swear I must be the only Windows Vista supporter out there. I've been using it on my main machine at home and haven't had any problems whatsoever.

BUT if its all gonna be so much alike why not look at this like an oppurtunity to make the big switch or atleast look at both and quit being so one sided (talking about me). Thats all Im saying is if Microsoft is gonna make all their new OS's use the Mac Layout why not check out *nix/mac if you have been on MS's dick like most young users have.
I was raised on Windows and just havent been ready for the switch and Im gonna look at this as what it needs to be,
a switch.
What approach is MS taking anyways?
They want all the competition to be the same so that now your just choosing companies and a select few functions?
Cause thats what this is boiling down to.
