Hiya Everyone,

It's been a long time since I've been on this forum. I've come back to pick your brains about Tripwire.

I'm looking to buy/implement this product and I would first like to get the opinions of anyone who has experience or previous experience with Tripwire.

Questions:

1. Did it meet your change control requirements?

2. Did it provide sufficient visibility over change control?

3. Did it help reduce audit findings?

4. Did it reduce Mean Time To Repair (MTTR)?

5. Did it enforce policy?

I would greatly appreciate everyone's opinion on this topic. If you know of additional information resources, please send them my way.

Thank you,

Ph03n1x

i figured i'd post a reply because noone else has, i haven't heard of tripwire in years, i'm not even sure if its still distributed, chances are your going to have to hunt someone down and get it off them. but from what i've heard its decent but not completely what its made out to be.
