Does anybody have any resources or links where i can find a Windows Messenger "Bot"

all i want it to do is login and basic chat.

ive founds 1000's on google that all seem outdated (like 2001) and no longer work..

This is not a request for IRC bots or botnets, but a simple MSNBOT.

Try searching on CPAN -> MSN search results from CPAN
Most modules contain examples in there documentation consider this one (Synopsis) for instance.
Just go through some results and test the example code. I'm sure at least one of them should work.

I want either a PHP or a Perl bot except the one i'm using, Blobsy is acting up and reporting error: "Connecting to NS unsuccessful [messenger.hotmail.com:1863, error: 111-Connection refused]" As with all of the bots i've tried but thats probably just my host

I was going to suggest just using a socket to connect and send the reliant data as per the rfc.. easy pie.
