@Kenny_L

I do not want to be 'undercover', because all the people know that malware-collectors like me are present on all the sites and forums like yours (and I don't hold it to be a illegal thing to do).

The only point that is different (from other collectors) is that I would ask you and other members to help me in order to make better tests (who knows to do it better, if not the malware-writters).
I can only learn from all of the members here, but I don't have any good knowledge to share with you (except maybe of some Lazarus/Freepascal programing, at the begginers level).

The target of my tests is to prove that the AV programs are not worth the money the people pays for, and to publish all those things not mentioned in advertisements.

This news scared pikachu2003, good example. Finally, he had to post something before his account is being deleted. :D

Hehe it's a bit the same for me, I really like to read the posts and find out information. This is my first post and I'm joining Bobby100

I'm posting this, not because to have one post, but because I want to explain the sense of my existence on this forum.
I'm not a poster from a couple of reasons:
- my English isn't quite good to get involved in discussions

for me, I'm not a poster since I never had any interesting code sample/exploit/whatever to show or real questions. I do prefer to watch what people says and what people talk about. Also, I prefer to not post instead of posting a smiley,'thanks' or something that goes against the rules . But I promise that, if any of these days I'm able to participate to some interesting thread, I'll do it :)

good time for a cleaning around here. if there anything I could be doing to help please lemme know.

bobby100, I agree that some AV softwares are not worth the money we pay for them. but anyway there will never be a perfect AV.... there will always be some virus that can defeat its detection n hopefully there will always be virus around to guarantee the existence of Antivirus!

I am probably one that will get the boot because this is my first post since becoming a member and if that is the decision then I can accept that. I have found this to be an informative forum for my daily activities (once you got thru the afformentioned bad posts)

I have used this site amoung other as resourses for combating the wild world that is the internet. I am a Sr Engineer for a large online retailer and my days are pretty packed with projects (and all the meetings they spawn), outages, and research etc... I have always wanted to post an original article or quality forum post but rarely do I have the time.

If this is to be my last post, I just wanted to say thanks and I will continue to come back for the articles.

Thanks

So we're shooting for quantity over quality now? I must have missed that memo.

I think they require that true members establish themselves now from the lurkers etc, so they have a tight cliche community and perhaps with fewer lurkers - will pave the way for new members to come who will contribute more.

i think what dissolutions is saying... we have members here who have never posted in well over 3mths at all.. yet they come on a daily basis... we don't mind them.. gaining knowledge from our members ...but it would be nice for them to be apart of the community... and perhaps comment on what they have read... give something back for a change... positive\negative feedback is always welcome... if you read an article then its nice to get some feedback from the members... who have taken the time to write their papers or submitted story's...or programs...code , exploits..etc if you see were am coming from

btw... everyone.. in this thread so far has NO fear of being deleted...even if you only posted for the first time.... get my drift ;)

Absolutely not, but there is no reason what so ever for a member to have Zero Posts. Theres introduction threads, location threads, Screenshot threads all of which require Zero Technical knowledge.

You can ask questions with anything thats not readily available.

Help a user when he asks a basic question.

It's not hard to have a few posts under your belt.

I'm also fairly new here and do enjoy reading the posts and assisting where I can. There is a variety of material that is always interesting to me. I may tend to be more of a lurker, but since some of these topics are beyond my capabilites currently, I always find them to be educational.
Thanks for the opportunity!
