rainbow tables?
Tried that. all i want is a simple program that will let me add or import the txt file that i made of the hashes and then give them to me in simple word text. any ideas? I have tried cain and john but it wont work. cain says unknown and john doesnt do anything. There is a program called saminside but it is for files that the program creates for you. I have the hashes I need a program that converts them for me

Assuming that the hashes are LM, rainbow tables would probably your fastest way of getting the password(s).

If you are interested in learning more you can read: http://www.plain-tex...wtables_Basics/
And if you still can't crack the hashes, goto:
http://www.plain-text.info/add/ and add your hashes there for a faster cracking
In case of can't add there or don't know how to use, you may come to irc that i have in my sig and ask for help there to crack your hashes. You may use the 2 bots in that chan.
Have fun

For hashes, I have suggest either plain-text.info or MDCrack that can be found at http://c3rb3r.openwall.net/mdcrack/. MDCrack is sure to work because windows login hashes are either MD4 or MD5. As for plain-text.info, I have never tested it but I guess it must be slower dued to the fact that it's a web-based service.
Windows hashes are not md4 or md5, are lanman (LM) or NTLM

No they are not. They are either LanMan hashes or NTLM/NTLMv2 hashes.windows login hashes are either MD4 or MD5

With rainbow tables you can crack passes like this '%+£*¨_°035346/*-' in minutes and your proggie wil take like forever.

You suggest something you haven't tested and even don't understand?
plain-text.info is a million times faster than your proggie, which will not work because it aren't md5 hashes, but if it were md5 hashes the fact that plain-text.info is a web-based service and not a tool has nothing to do with speed, it's probably even faster because webservers are usually faster than home-pc's.

In fact, www.plain-text.info uses not one, not two, not 3...but lot's of home computers (all them are fast), anyway, who would be crazy enouth to run rcrack in a webserver? hehehe
Give it a wirl and find the power of rainbowcracking ^^
