So when you generate your server, in "DNS /1" instead of an IP you have to put your no-ip adress.
For example: zunami.no-ip.org
Always put the adress without "www"

Find your router at http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm - then follow the instructions and forward the port that you've selected to use in the Bifrost builder (and make sure you've also set the client to listen on this port).does anyone know a way how to use bifrost when i have a lan connection

@Daperci
I hope u didnt give away your true no-ip account (zunami.no-ip.org),
cause if u did so, anyone will be able to know your IP address as long as u have the NO-IP DUC application running.

He's only forwarding non-vulnerable ports, and the bitfrost server, sets a password, plus the main uses of bifrost will be running them on your friends computer like a script kiddie, so you might have minor access to the router settings. After some googling I figured out some people are having issues with a reverse connection on BiFrost.if bifrost is executed on a machine that u dont have access to the router settings then reading instructions will not take u anywhere. much easier to use reverse connection using a source port allowed by the router.

This is an example.
zunami.no-ip.org is not a real account.

what on earth are you talking about edu19? if he is running Bifrost then he will HAVE to have access to the computer the client is on and the ports will need to be forwarded on his router, this is exactly what digerati is saying. There is no need to use "ports allowed by the router". What's that all about?
Also i searched google and couldnt find anyone having problems connecting, which search query was used?

He's talking about a reverse connection, which most firewalls and routers don't seem to mind, therefore making it simpler to get remote access, and providing a simple bypass for routers and firewalls.

much easier to use reverse connection using a source port allowed by the router.
keep in mind if you connect with a port like 80 or 21, you will not recieve the notifies if the port is in use by something like a browser or FTP client. much easier choosing your own unused port and forwarding it in your router.
Support feminists, hairy women need love too.

"they wanna take it to their friends pc n use it like a skiddie"
hahaha what else would it be hum? hehehe...
ah now I see I was thinking about the server part
the client part wants to receive the connection and it is behind a router.
that way u need to configure the ports used by bifrost on the router for sure.
