The location is 53rd and Lexington, the citigroup buildings atrium next to the bookstore.

I'm trying to work out a few things so I can possibly make it up there. Be cool to put a face with a name and relax so to speak.

Any info on whos going to be speaking about what yet?

Also if the bldg closes can the gathering be moved to the bookstore?

Anyone renting a hotel room?

How far is this place from the Bronx?

Those to young to have a drink, they gonna be left behind when the gathering moves to a club or bar?

Perhaps in the future, GSO could do a Live 8-ish-thingy :-P Meaning that we have the "stages" (1 at each location) on which people can present, while it's broadcasted live to all the other places. Issue would be time, but yea...

Oh, and I can't come. Sorry, but to get up there by 5:30 would require me to miss a day of school - can't do that just yet

I have not had a single person volunteer to speak yet. So right now it looks like we are just hanging out.

When the building closes at 9 we can definatly move into the bookstore as long as people don't get roudy.

It's in Manhattan so it all depends where in the bronx you are.

If we have a lot of people who are younger I might find a pizza parlor that has beer, or someplace else. I know it would suck for the younger guys so I am working on some good options.
