Any simple tutorial will show you how to script.
They are prohibited and it is not because of the laws of the United States or any other political ideal. They are prohibited simply because they tarnish the images of Information Security.

Hi all, i am a new joinee to the forum and currently my status is trial member; As a new joinee i searched for forum rules and got to know the rules of the forum;

i had a query - how does a trial member get sponsored by somebody of the specialist group or a moderator/admin; i know nobody in the forum;
is there a criteria a trial member needs to meet before being sponsored ?

@taknev...well am sure you will be noticed after a few posts..it go's by the quality of content that you post...if your helpful in the forum by posting quality information or help with advice or programming , software issues etc...

then you dont have to know anybody....someone will notice you and forward your name for possible upgrade...they usually send a PM to the Admin team members or your mentioned in private areas in the forum , or a friend who is a full member or specialist recommends you...follow me

i changed it...and no your not allowed images in sigs....thats why you dont see any other member with them...or they should not have one

Well I have a question about the Specialty Group. Do you have to reach a certain post number to be able to be sponsored by someone?

nope jeff... members considered for Specialist status and access to 4 private forums go's by their attitude , helpfulness , quality of post content , and not post count...and also we feel can be trusted for them area's....nobody applys.. they get promoted after reviewing their status.... if a Specialist recommends a member for upgrading...then we will look closer at that person reviewing all their post contents.... i am in the process of reviewing members and have recently upgraded a few...with more to follow in the coming weeks

I dont share the concern about rank positions. I am here to learn and if someday I have something helpfu I'll give it. I am grateful to be here. I owe forums quite a bit. Just a little short of a decade ago I was just an itinerant poet, a newbie to the cyber world, and I got a free education, still do, from online forums and offerings from computer companies. That spotty education got me a job with a small online research company and eventually became an officer of it. I am not saying that rank is not meaningful and without content. I believe that the present system is as good as any, maybe better. I am not really an organization person. I do belong to a secret poetry society in which one enters as an apprentice, then is promoted to journey, master, and then to apprentice again. In the meetings one notices that the apprentices are the young and old. We are not secret by declaration; we just do not do more than teach and learn. No applying for grants or subsidies, no public publications. No union like activities. The ranks here seem to be decided by peers with some expertise in these matters. That's good. A discussion about it is not good. It is a waste of time and I am selfish.

Now teach me something.
