Check out the slingbox for tv access from a phone... its basically a cable box that outputs across ethernet... no need to store video on the phone... control/stream a TiVO, watch TV live, etc...
guess its one of them lazarus threads...bring it back a live every so often
well had a couple since my post... most notible was I-mate K-jam ...to bulky and damn slow... now using Nokia N95 with latest firmware... not bad with built in GPS even if its a bit slow to load at times... only gripe is the sounds are a bit tinny but realplayer media is pretty neat for my vids.... my wife has a moto RIZR Z8 her sounds have excellent tone way better than the N95 ...on a footnote connecting the phone up to the TV is handy for watching films you download providing you got a microSD with plenty of spare space;)

Beardednose is right.
I just love it when you say that to me. I like even more when my wife says it (and that does not happen often, especially since she doesn't call me BN; she has better names for me )
Anyway, my business just got me a blackberry 8703e, and I really like it. It's ugly sure, but hey, it's free. I'm addicted to email, googling an address or phone and getting a google map. And the phone sounds okay; I get they fixed the sound problem.
I still keep a paper notebook for notes and stuff, and only put appointments, phone#s, addresses, and a few notes (what print cartridges all my printers use) in my BB. I love getting the weather, sports, and news with a couple clicks.
I never knew a thumb could do so much. I can even spin the wheel left handed almost....

Really modifiable too. I can control my laptop from it over Bluetooth, and thats standard on this phone (Google "Bluetooth HID", might help).
