Hey all, I will be moderating here in the programming section but with Visual Basic being my language of choice (6 and .NET) then I will be about here quite a lot. Lets see if we can get it thriving down here, I will try and answer as many questions as I can myself but if you see a question dont be afraid to answer it. Even if you are wrong its better than not bothering and leaving someone stuck.

Anyway about all I wanted to say was welcome!

Could you please recommend a good book to start VB.net off with for a complete programming newbie?

I found various online sources but i find that reading thru a book then moving on to online resources for specific things is better.

Thanks

And for source codes which hold tons of examples check you www.planet-source-code.com They got C/C+/Delphi/.NET and more... With many thousands of examples. The VB6 section is huge.
