Net Admin/Server Config Managment for a Pretty decently sized Network. Support about 6500-7000 users. Connected to another network that has many many many more users.

Been doing this for 1.5 years and would honestly not trade my job for anything in the world. I love the daily challanges and learn at least one new thing daily. I used to work on Airplanes, but that was boring and repetitive. I was always into computers in general, just not the extent that I am now.

Future Goals are to become more proficient, learn as much as I can about everything..broad I know!! :)

interesting thread . well on my 27th birthday i decided to go back to school and do something with my life instead of just well enjoyin it , do something i like if ya know what i mean and thats where i am now , going to school working on my degree although just at the beginning , .1st semester . not easy having those 18 year old jumpin around but it's possible , took me a while ot make that step though and i dont regret it. i dont know yet in which sector in computerscience i'll major in , german university system is a little different . i got a pretty long way ahead of me still and it surely wont be easy but getting a hold ofl ife again so i'm cool with it .

other than that i'm into this computer shizznit pretty much . never hack in the open though so i dont really care fi this is a dead give away to anyone cause police can knock at my door anytime , dont have anything to hide only hack my own system so puuuuuuuuiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiih .

oh yea i'm a certified sys admin but like i said going to school again .

I could have sworn I had replied to this topic already, but upon closer review, I obviously didn't. I am a security consultant working in the midwest, primarily responsible for pen testing, and firewall and IDS installations. Finding this site and few others recently has been a god-send. Keep up the good work.

Well, I'm a Computer Programmer. I sit in a cage all day and crank out code faster than a printer... I work on a lot Human Relations, internal document, process flow, and compensation management.

My hobbies include Computers;
-> Open Source Coding (I like to share :D )
-> Security / Administration
-> I mess a bit in grafix & design.

and a bunch of other stuff i prolly should list in public ;)

oh, I almost forgot... I'm also a Jungle-Junkie... it's all about that Hard/Raw/Nasty/Heavy sound :blink:

I'm currently studying Computing for Internet and Multimedia in Aberdeen, only 3 years away from that degree now :)

I'm trying to find a job in computing on a part time basis as I really m fed up with the hundreds of obs involving a till and being plesant to old women who seem to have lost their purse <_<

My interests lie in Un*x variants. I run NetBSD, SuSE, Debian and Slackware on my machines at home, with of course the obligatory Windows XP box. I also find myself being interested in PHP and mySQL...and so I quickly found myself running a PHP message board constantly trying to make mods for the system (WoltLab Burning Board/vBulletin) trying to make something that will have an impact on the community....but alas I'm not there yet :)

Love this site (granted I only found it yesterday), but it looks like a great place and I'll probably find mysef spending quite some time here.
