PHProxy is a web HTTP (for now; FTP is not supprted yet) proxy programmed in PHP designed to bypass firewalls and other proxy restrictions through a web interface very similar to the popular CGIProxy. School/country/company blocked your favorite website? Look no further!

I know someone who might find this very useful.
I've been looking high and low for a program like that, but never found something like this. Always some other kind of software solution...

Thanks a lot for the find m8!!! gonna grab it and test it.

I love proxies =D

I posted a tutorial on bypassing school filters and restrictions a while ago. Had information on setting up and running a webserver to use scripts like that on. Run a search for my name if you like. Theres a Zip file along with it that has proxy scripts along with upload scripts (PHP) all with built in login scripts and IP loggers.

Heres a nice webserver you should look into if you are planning on doing this sort of thing on a windows box. http://sourceforge.n...cts/miniserver/ Requires no installing, just unpack and run. I even run it on school computers. Its Apache and runs PHP, cgi, perl, even has a MySQL server in it.

woh thanks for that miniserver information..

Just tried it now...worked excellent.

Sure, setting everything up on your own is good but for a quick setup this will do just fine.

:)
