You will need cygwin1.dll ( and possibly some other .dll from /bin ) in the same dir or system path to run a cygwin compiled exe.

i did a search on google gor compiling exploits in windows ad got some link leading to some page in ww.irongeek.com .So i sugggest u have a look there.. the link gave full details on instaliing cygwin to compile exploits in windows..

yeh if u did install cygwin already u just gotta make sure u installed th needed modules too check that site..

personally i think u are a bit lazy lil hacker.. :P otherwise u would have found it by now. or did you??

Anyway my Q... if i do install vmware over windows to run a live knoppix cd would that leave my system more vulnerable to be hacked as i got windows vmware and knoopix ruing at the same time..

just pondering :(
