I'm wondering how to search for proxies, specifically on non-standard ports. Most of these tools like Proxyrama, Proxynator, Proxigrab 3 etc just google and download lists that are super old. And then I see that some people get fresh new proxies...4000 of them! Every day! I am just curious if anyone knows of any other tool to meet this need, or knows of a strategy/theory behind finding them so I could code my own. :D

The way I learned was using aatools. I had some links to some tutorials I will dig around and try to find them. As for finding ones on odd ports I think you have to know what odd port you want to find some one and then scan with a port scanner for boxes with that port open.

You might check the proxies section of this board for tutorials there might be some over there.

Just please, don't repost lists that you find on other forums or anything. Jay finds his own and shares them. That's how he does it.

Proxyhunter might do the trick for you.

Or YAPH (Yet Another Proxy Hunter). It is a linux program tho, but can be combined very well with proxychains to not piss off you ISP for scanning correctly.
Most out there will be on "standard" ports (by definition), but some just aren't as standard as others! If you do a big scan, you are most likely to find ones running on 80, 1080 (socks),8080, 3128 (squid) etc. but then again, thats where everyone is looking.
