You can use netcat with telnet to do alot of other things it's very possible and there are many ways too many to be mentioned here.

What type of dos are you asking about? The windows emulator or actual Dos?

But yah you can seriously just read up and start trying different things the odds of finding programs to do the work for you and you do nothing are in the lowest area of percentage.

Using DOS and a few basic tool's you can hack a window's 2000 server for example or you could write your own batch file to brute force the share's.

You could scan around port 139 (NetBIOS Service) on the Internet, and you might have a chance connect and hack into those who don't have a password (or too simple) for the administrator with DOS. (Pure DOS commands... )

you can also try a tool called "Legion", it helps you to find/connect/operate port 139 on the Internet, too.

Well, you are all talking about hacking with the windows console. Windows console is not DOS. Console applications are still WIN32 applications and they have the PE headers. DOS is the old operating systems made by MS. It didn't even support TCP/IP naturally, you had to use 3rd party software. So you couldn't even access the internet using DOS, how did you want to hack somebody ?
