HELSINKI, Finland - Finnish computer security experts warned Tuesday of a new worm, known as "Doomjuice," that is expected to attack computers infected by "Mydoom," despite the fact it's programmed to stop spreading later this week.

The virus, first detected by F-Secure on Monday night, has so far infected at least 30,000 computers worldwide since it was activated Sunday, said the company's director of antivirus research, Mikko Hypponen.

Like Mydoom.A and Mydoom.B, the new worm is designed to strike Microsoft Corp.'s Windows operating systems and is programmed to launch a worldwide attack on the web site of SCO, one of the largest UNIX vendors in the world.more>>

You are? I hope you make something really good that will infect great number of computers.

You know MS offered quarter of a million for information leading to capture of the sucker who started the blasted thing? If you can only beat him I am sure MS will up the reward, then I can buy me car, house and boat I always wanted.

hm...hope it takes them a long time to clean up computers :P lol, or someone rls's something better, and if you turn in someone when you are on this forum, thats just wrong, and i bet microsoft would hire the coder to help secure, just like NASA did with that one 12 yr old a while back, or however old he was

This is only the beggining, the real problems will begin after the exploit writers finish sorting the portions of 2000 code that was released

I guess this is gonna become quite dangerous thinking that the microsoft researchers only work with 1 % of the whole source code and in internet you can dowload 15 %...
I guess many bugs and security wholes will come out pretty soon..
Lets see..

I guess that guy REALLY doesn't want to pay the proposed SCO License fee.

SCO had it coming.

I think its going to take a while for any real exploit of danger comes out. I write code all day that it takes a long time to file through that much code. But soon it will happen.

What I think is worse is that now we have MS watching our every download. The RIAA, the MPAA and now MS. Geeze, thats a lot of big brother and finally one of them now has the means to do some serious tracking.

Some thing to think about!

whoever wrote the virus to delete it is a good person; i'm not a virus fan at all!

Why would you say it was the same person as the mydoom creater though? Mrdoom.F was thought to be made by someone else, this probably was too!! probably someone that just wanted to give microsoft more of a hard time :unsure:

Strings found within the latest versions of NetSky and Bagel seem to indicate that the authors of the current "Top Two" pieces of malware aren't particularly happy with each other. A string found within Bagel.K proclaims "Hey, NetSky, f**k off you b***h!", while a similar message from the author of NetSky says "Skynet AntiVirus - Bagle - you are a looser!!!!"

Perhaps then, here is something they'll understand:

char msg[]= {0x47, 0x72, 0x6F, 0x77, 0x20, 0x75, 0x70, 0x21, 0};
