Rsa Encryption rumours...

Ok, i keep hearing rumours from some black hat irc groups that a critical weakness has been found in the RSA encryption.

I'm sure this is rubbish, as from a mathematical perspective, cracking RSA, is equivalent to factorising a very large number into the two primes that made it.

Has anyone else heard similar rumours?

not the same rumor ;)


but the usa(CIA) probably can crack RSA ;) ^-^

Mathematically I haven't found any - but then again im not a genius .... yet ;)

I would doubt that a blackhat irc group would be able to find a flaw which some of the greatest mathematicians aroudn the world couldnt ... so either sum1 got lucky or its another hoax

afaik there is no good way in factorising any big numbers
