Hex Editor

just curious what hex editor you guys use(i am new to hex editing so)
i am using Hex Workshop but i am having a little problem after i save the code after editing it overwrites the old file.exe with the new 1 but when i try to run the one with the new code says not valid win32 application (origonal program being serv-u for windows)

I use Hiew or Hex Workshop.
You're probably getting an error about it not being a valid win32 application because you didn't alter something completely, or left something out. Make sure you look through your information thoroughly.

k got servu to do what i wanted

any suggestions as to why iroffer still getting picked up by mcafee?

Macaffee would still be detecting Iroffer because it sees it as being a virus, backdoor, whatever it classifies it as. You can try using an exe packer on Iroffer if your hex editing isn't working.

zero-maitimax a version where no virus scanners will pick up it's signature as a virus/trojan etc

binedit - it is a very simple hex editor, at least in my opinion. u should try it.
