Cisco Adsl Router 827 -> Telnet Using telnet to forward some ports

I am a complete noob concerning CISCO routers, or even all routers without a web interface :) So I could use some help.

I dont have the IOS software, but I can access the router via telnet.
I'd like to forward the PPTP port (1723) to a server in order to enable VPN.
I don't know anything about VPN either, but I'd like to test it... I really dont know any of the commands to alter the settings in a cisco router. So any help is extremely appreciated.
