INSTALLATION OF WALLHACK:

There are three ways to install the opengl wallhack. If you have a Geforce 2 Card, use the second method if not then Try the first.

If you get a message saying that "This OpenGL mode is not supported by your video card," use the second method.

Voodoo users who want to try and use the hack with WickedGL just use the third.

Then do the common steps at the bottom no matter what method you chose.

METHOD #1:
1. Extract GLHack.dll, GlHackConfig.exe, GLHack.ini, and the BMP files into your base Half-Life directiory (by default it's C:\Sierra\Half-Life, or C:\Sierra\Counter-Strike for the standalone CS release).
1a. If you've ever used other OpenGL-based hacks, delete the hacked OpenGL32.dll files.
2. Edit the gldrv\drvmap.txt file and add the following line to the end:
GLHack.dll m491c OpenGL Hack
3. Run Half-Life or Counter-Strike, and choose the hack in your video modes configuration.

METHOD #2:
1. Extract OpenGL32.dll, GlHackConfig.exe, GLHack.ini, and the BMP files into your base Half-Life directiory (by default it's C:\Sierra\Half-Life, or C:\Sierra\Counter-Strike for the standalone CS release).
2. Go to your Windows\System directory, and make a copy of your OpenGL32.dll file. Rename it to OLDOGL32.DLL. (NOTE: The name is important - if you don't name the copy EXACTLY OLDOGL32.DLL, you'll get the "mode not supported" error.) Leave the copy in your system directory.

METHOD #3:
1. Extract GLHack.dll, GlHackConfig.exe, GLHack.ini, and the BMP files into your base Half-Life directiory (by default it's C:\Sierra\Half-Life, or C:\Sierra\Counter-Strike for the standalone CS release).
2. Edit the gldrv\drvmap.txt file and add the following line to the end:
GLHack.dll m491c OpenGL Hack
3. Copy the gldrv\3DFXGL.DLL file (your WickedGL Driver, should be 300+ k) to the base HL directory. Rename it to opengl32.dll. As in method 2, NAME IS IMPORTANT.
3. Run Half-Life or Counter-Strike, and choose the hack in your video modes configuration.

COMMON STEPS:
1. Edit the cstrike\config.cfg file and add this line to the end (or change the fastsprites line already in the file to):
fastsprites "1.000000"
2. Run the GLHackConfig program or edit GLHack.ini to set the keys that activate the various features of the hack.

USING THE WALLHACK

Once installed, you simply use the keys you chose to activate the various features of the hack. Here are explanations of the features:

Cheat: The wallhack. Makes walls look translucent.
Mode: Changes the way the wallhack works. Off is darker, on is lighter. For those if you that know OpenGL, it sets the color against which the walls are blended.
Flashbangs: When on, flashbangs don't affect you.
Smoke: When on, smoke from smoke grenades doesn't render.
Fullbright: When on, renders level geometry (walls, boxes, etc.) with no shadows - as if always in full white lighting.
Crosshair: When on, renders an extra crosshair - easier to see, and always on.
Trans. Up and Down: Sets the keys to adjust how "clear" the walls are.
Transparency: Set's inital transparency for the walls. .4 to .6 is best.
Chat keys: Set keys that, when pressed, cause the cheat to not respond to the other hotkeys until you press enter or escape. Set to your ingame chat keys so the cheat doesn't turn things on and off while you're typing.

USING THE CONFIGURATION UTILITY

To set keys in the config utility, click the name of a function (like "Mode"), and then double-click a key in the list. After you've set the keys to your liking, make sure to click the save settings button before you close the utility.

Hey Absolution... hows it man... yeah I jst found it on that FTP link in my sig and thought it might be useful for someone... tell yah the truth I ain't even try'd it...
Don't even have Counter Strike... Got 1/2 Life though...:)

Yeah mate used to do quite abit before lost motivation now really but still one and off depends on the project itself.

I actually started to really get into programming through making cheats :P

And no its not VAC proof

I have to say I dont agree with posting game cheats here either.

I hope all you cheats download it and get your steam ID black listed :D because this will almost certainly be detected by VAC since its coded for CS 1.5 and not 1.6 :lol:

I really dont see the difference between posting a cheat/exploit for a game and a variation of the blaster virus, both can/may cause harm in a way a guess but are meant to educate and inform the masses and creators/distributors of the software.

As stated this cheat is detected, however just cause something is old does not mean its out-dated. I have a cheat i originally coded for 1.3 still works like a charm (with a few modifications to make it work for 1.5) but still vac proof.

The only people that suffer by losing cd keys or steam ID's are newbies that foolishly rush into something completly blind folded. Cheaters that have been around for a while or even people with half a brain are able to work around this with ease.

I think your negative thoughts are clouding your ability to fairly judge a situation.

Please feel free to tell me just how different is a cheat, to any other exploit on this forum?

In my eyes they are both designed with the same intent to either:

A ) To either show the developers of the original software (Eg- Valve, Microsoft, etc), that there is something below par with there product.
B ) To be exploited by script kiddies for their personal gain.

Unfortunatly I wasn�t quick enough to see your original �argument� but I�m guessing something along the lines of you ruin the game minus the odd F word or possible questioning of my sexual preference.

Well Crakie, Fabien and co you ruin my life too. Why do I deserve to have discussion about the million ways to exploit my operating system, the million ways to illegally gain access to my machine and the possible ways of tricking and fooling me into �downloading this ub3r pic.jpg�.

Infact you have inspired me, if cheating is a no no then I demand that Gov Security be shut down! How can talking and conspiring about the possible ways of ruining my personal property be allowed if cheating isn�t?? Seems something�s wrong here�.

I�m not saying cheating is right nor wrong, we are all entitled to our own opinions and thoughts, however criticizing ones opinions as they differ to yours is very childish.

While I did code cheats in the past, it was just for experience and to push myself to the edge and learn something new, it was a hobby. I just used to muck around around and see what I could do.

If a certain somebody named Gooseman didn�t muck around with the Half Life SDK one day you wouldn�t even have your precious little Counter Strike.

But specifically speaking about cheating and counter strike, Valve is only to blame for all this. They could have stopped this all ages ago but they like many other firms (Microsoft) decide to turn their backs on the problem. So if anything you should be thanking me that because of me and others like me Valve feels the need to update its obsolete product to keep your little lovely self happy.

But it�s alright mate no need to thank me personally, your child like out burst is all I need.

Thats pretty interesting... I can agree that there is alot in common between a cheat and just another product exploit. but you must agree that unlike a normal exploit, cheat is all about ruining the fun for others. nothing more, nothing less. I'm sure most people, even most script kiddies, use the exploits in other way, then just, lets say, format the hacked person's c: drive, or pop up nag screens in his screen(lol probably no one does this one). If you consider script kiddies to be lame, cheaters are the worst of this kind. I think this is a boundry the moderators must put to make sure this forum doesn't turn out to be a 12 y/o's cheaters nest. Feel free to post a vote in this issue, I'm confident most of the visitors of this forum do not wish cheats to be spread anymore than they already have.

P.S. wicked, as much as I appreciate your contribution to this forum... bad move...

imo cheats possess much much more threat then exploits coz cheats just ruins fun exploit gona ruin the admins job or may be life B) and they are availble here !! God know who uses this for wat ! and how if u dont mind thet ! than i think cheats are probably nothing to mind !
