Ever at home, having a bath, when you suddenly start to think what that G729 protocol belongs to (VoIP), or even, cant remember what the structure of an IP header is? No, me neither.
If it ever does happen to you though, http://www.protocols.com/protocols.htm is the place to go. Every protocol under the sun, from GPRS, ISDN and WAP, to SUN, Novell and IBM. There is a relativly detailed information on each protocol, giving information on its header structure in most cases, and a link to RFC, IEEE or other regulatory body (whatever is applicable) giving more information for each protocol.
The site itself suits its purpose, with a list of acronyms, links etc.
Those working in the field more than likely know about this site already, but its a handy site to have bookmarked...just remember to dry yourself after the bath first! :D
