Capture Files Through A Proxy Server? anything of the like exist?

I was wondering if there was any type of proxy server I can run that can capture files downloaded from a client who uses it (which would be me). Or is it still a dream for now? Preferably a HTTP proxy server which can monitor file being transmitted through it with an option to save the file? Thanks a lot in advance.
