Critical Problem ! Routes Dead :(

hello all members i live in egypt and i was affected by the cut of the internet cables in the mid. sea.

now i do tracert and sometimes i am able to reach outside hosts , is there any way to force the routers to route me through specific routers so i can always be connected ??

i am not able to connect now through my broadband , and im lucky dial up still works


Please tell me if u have any solution to this problem , Can i configure anything to be online again orr its out of my control ?

You are not in charge here, your ISP would need to route the traffic for you. But what is happening is that the working route points are getting overloaded and the internet connections have become really really slow. I guess we just have to sit and watch. I was reading in a paper that it could take upto 10 days for things to clear up.

We have been hit by it too.

Theres nothing you can do about it apparently an anchoring ship off Egypt's Alexandria coast damaged Indian-owned FLAG cable and also SEA-ME-WE .They say its going to take atleast 10 days to get that repaired.But i see no difference in speed on my end .
