Hey all,

why not have a forum dedicated to I.T certifacations? I think you all know why this might be a good idea :)

Sounds like a good idea, but it depends on how many people are into certs. YOu should start a poll, and see how many people are into certs.

I have my CISSP, but I dont' think this board is into certs. Anyone?

Im going to take my ccna soon, then might go for CCNP or CCSP. beardednose i got a few questions. Which study material did u use? How long did it take? Wat kind of experience did you list to meet the 3 year requirment? I want study for CISSP I got a few study guides and learnkey(video instructor studying) but i wont meet the experience requirments so im holding off :(

and im taking my first certification at the moment which is A+ and thats on thursday :D And i also have a few questions to ask and maybe even answer ;o

I have not done any certificates but i am planning to do them in the future . having information in the gso forums will certianly help.So, it's a good idea.

I think a cert forum would be good it would provide a area where people can share and help each other. In the mean time I have some learning material for the ceh and cissp on my site in my e-learning section for anyone interested.

I think having a cert. forum would be a great idea. I have my CISSP and I would love to help out anyone else who is trying to get theirs. I'm also looking into getting a CCNA next, so I sure there are a few members who can help me out.

I think it's not so necessary. Because there are some certifications which are well-known, and bring a priority when looking for an IT job. These are not things to discuss. As the certificate news, the new certificates and the ways of getting it can be published in the news section, since these are IT-related news, too.
