eh... the C:\con folder is accesible. Shouldn't it be locked ?

What is wrong?
I took my cdm-promt and executed "md C:\con\"
Now the C:\con folder appears and is accesible with the explorer

But if i try to make one with right-mouse -> New -> Folder "con" it changes my folder name to "New folder."..

hmm messed a bit with this stuff n heres the result:

if u create a folder with a reserved device name, no matter where (c:\, desktop, program files)

it is NOT accessible via command prompt or via explorer.exe c:\reserved_name

at command prompt u get a msg : cmd doesnt offer support to UNC paths as current folders

but if u open up windows explorer and navigate through the folder u will access it ;)
