TransUnion handles our credit profiles, but yet they make it near impossible to correct any problems their level of service is by far on of the worst companies to date. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) has given this company a grade of F

But yet the government still allows this company to manage our credit reports. It has also been noted from various online sources that transunion actively gives out your personal information including account numbers to anyone who asks for them. ANYONE!

You may ask why I am ranting about this well, I am a recent victim of this lovely company customer service. I purchased the $39.95 3in1 credit report and after they charged my card they gave me the nice message of we cannot process your order online at this time. So I turn to their "Contact Us" button. Low and behold you must have a credit report number in order to speak with a live representitive.


So after searching the net to come up with some means of getting in contact with this company besides snail mail. I stumble amongst thousands of negative reports about this company for various things.


I am asking everyone who gives a damn about their credit and the security of their personal information to please contact your state representitive, and ask that government action be taken against this company. And if you really feal spunky Experian has been reported to be just as troublesome.
We cannot afford to let our credit history be managed so poorly by these companies especially in this day and age of identity theft.
