Hi all i just wanted to ask that how can i run unreal ircd in hidden mode(winthot showing any windows or taskbar icons) .
thank u all.
ps: i am running the ircd on windows so i want instructions for windows version.

what i used todo is , get hiderun.exe and pack it with the unreal files in a winrar archieve file, and when the winrar sfv file is run the unreal starts and nothing apears on the screen. hiderun.exe should be in the download section

dont bother with hiderun install the IRCD as a service "unreal.exe install " then "unreal.exe start" and all is well ;) dont use more then whats needed. Have fun :)

So i think usage of hiderun is needed here tho....

So he doesn't want it hidden from windows itself.. just let the app show no windows or be in the tray etc... so running as service should work as mentioned before ;)

Exactly when the service is installed there isnt an interface present just a process :) Unreal is one of my fav IRCDs to mod and play with :) if yah need a hand with this IRCD modding etc hollar at me.
