Cookies, What To Do?

What can I do with a cookie? Can i gain passwords/username information or other account information?

i believe they are to track your activity at a site and do not in itself hold the access logs.

well you can get a lot of info from cookies ... user id ,session id , hashed passwords etc... with the info you can spoof your ID to gain say admin access , website access , e-mail account access , you can steal loggins for various sites... . if you craft an evil script... like i said you can re-direct it to your site...known as Cookie stealing , virtually own the guy..if you have the right info.... cookies can be very dangerous in the wrong hands

a nice little topic

when i was looking at something to do with obtaining cookies a few weeks back, i was reading on using flash to perform the steal. While not ground breaking it was interesting none the less.
