Google News says: Canadians Authorities Arrest U.S. President Bush On War Charges (AKA the art of defacing without defacing)

Not really security related but funny the same: -=GSecur=-

In Google it opened up like this:

"11/30/04 "ICH" -- Ottawa -- Canadian authorities have arrested US president George W. Bush in Ottawa. He has been charged with several offences under Canada's War Crimes Act. Vice-President Dick Cheney has mobilized the American military and all border crossings between the two nations have closed..."

but it was pure is political satire from axisoflogic

http://www.axisoflog...cle_14050.shtml

In effect, at the beginning of the original article you could read:

"Editor's Note: Yes folks, this story is political satire, not fact. But Donald Rumsfeld, George Tenant and others in the Bush regime are being charged with war crimes in Germany and that story is serious."

but once it got parsed by the googlenews bot it got displayed in the main news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=us page as the first news in the page as you can see by this screenshot:read more

Another issue that input validation could have avoided. This is actually pretty funny. What an interesting concept though, google got defaced without defacement.
