De-auth Still Works On 802.11i

Just been to a BCS Cisco Conference. I was talking to one of the engineers at the end and asked him about the de-auth attack and whether it will still work with 802.11i.
Apparently, they dont see this as a major threat so this attack will therefore work on the 802.11i!

I guess they see it as theres no possible solution since if they stop the deauth flood, someone will come along with a new attack that would corrupt all the packets in mid-air. The inherrent insecurity of wireless, completley vulnerable to dos...

Could you give a short "what is" on "de-auth" as you use the term? :huh:
