Hi,
I recently downloaded The WHoppix Live Edition.
I Have an ADSL 'Dynamode' A360 USB Modem,
Whice is connected to my computer.

How can i get it (the modem) to work under WHoppix?

Thanks a lot!

From what i remember you can right click on the desktop and config your lan settings... but seeing as you have a usb modem (shitty) you might have a few more problems... all i can suggest with out looking into it would be to

1. right click on the desktop and follow the menus
2. buy a lan card?! not expensive and there is alot more pros than cons when compared to a usb modem... my modem has a slot for usb and ethernet cable. yours might too

I am sorry to inform you that there are no drivers to support whoppix as far as these modems go. You will have to use Ethernet(Which is better anyways). Knoppix is good with hardware and it will read the USB modems, but for some reason, Whoppix will not. As far as I know the only Linux drivers for these modems were designed for Red hat.

Why don't you just switch up to Ethernet?
