GSO as a service to the Opensource community is hosting the homepage for the Openssl Developer Studio Workspaces for MS Windows.

The OpenSSL Project is a collaborative effort to develop a robust, commercial-grade, full-featured, and Open Source toolkit implementing the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL v2/v3) and Transport Layer Security (TLS v1) protocols as well as a full-strength general purpose cryptography library. The project is managed by a worldwide community of volunteers that use the Internet to communicate, plan, and develop the OpenSSL toolkit and its related documentation.

OpenSSL is based on the excellent SSLeay library developed by Eric A. Young and Tim J. Hudson. The OpenSSL toolkit is licensed under an Apache-style licence, which basically means that you are free to get and use it for commercial and non-commercial purposes subject to some simple license conditions.

The official Open SSL project is located at:Openssl.org

The windows version hosted on GSO can be found at openssl.governmentsecurity.org

I really don't think that a slight elbow jab to the ribs by stating "M$" really classifies anyone as immature. It's just a little fun between geeks. Think about it the guy took the time to develop the app, so it's not like he is being a jerk about it.

Question of the day: does anyone know about plans to bring out the M$ solution for openSSL_0.9.8 ?? or if the current solution (which is for 9.7) is compatible with 9.8??? (Huge thanks in advance)
