I have attached Jens File editor. A fantastic IDE/editor for the gcc, g++ compiler.
All ansi .headers the full ansi C library along with openGl and a couple examples that prove that you can really code some great graphics, gui with openGl. If you cant afford
msvc++, dont want to shell out the 21 dollars for DevC++,this is the package for you.
Its a self extracting archive and everthing is placed where it needs to be, just extract and click on gcc, your ready to GO!
If this has been posted here before I appologize I have never seen it here, but anyhow thought Ide share. This is everything you need to start writing an d compiling your own C ,C++ programs.

Enjoy!
:D

I am a really big fan of "MinGW Developer Studio". You can get it for free @ http://www.parinya.ca/

MinGW Developer Studio is based on the MinGW port of GCC. It has a interface that looks a lot like MS Visual Studio. I've used it for a few weeks now and are very happy with it. I have MS Visual Studio installed on the same box but haven't used it since I installed MinGW. It's a little less tolerant then MS VS but that shouldn't be a problem if you are interested in coding.
