UPDATE: MCAFEE TO BUY FOUNDSTONE FOR $86 MILLION
==========================

Antivirus software company McAfee Inc. is buying Foundstone Inc., which
makes software for detecting and managing software vulnerabilities, for
$86 million in cash, McAfee said Monday.

Not sure what this means, but it may mean the end of foundstone tools. You might want to go to foundstone and grab any tools you want. You never know.

The free tools are under RESOURCES, the FREE TOOLS.

For some reason, I've never like McAfee, although I have never used any of their products. Maybe the name just sounds stupid.

I like both the 3.0 and 4.0 version of their scanner, SuperScan.

wowww.... any clue why they would do that? only thing I can think of is trying to stop a major producer of hacking tools... if they stop making/giving out tools, there's going to be a load of pissed people (including me)

how about .. 86 Million dollars?

Mcafee sure got one hell of a company. I'm guessing they think it will help improve their image in the security industry. Fat chance of that. My, how the mighty have fallen ...

Thanks for the rar, tyrano. I can't imagine Mac will continue to give these away for free, but who knows.
