because IE is used by 90% of the internet means there will be tons more exploits for it. The reason there isnt more mozilla exploits isnt necissairly because its tons safer, alot of it IMO has to do with the fact its used much less. Well now its catching up!

Mozilla (I don't think firefox is though) is open source. I would guess that you would get paranoid security expert coders fixing the problems. Since most of them don't use IE, mozilla is one of the browsers they immigrate to. On linux there is no IE, mozilla is one of the better browsers.
