Hi,
I'm just wondering what IRC scripts (just for general purposes) you guys are using as I need help choosing one. I've tried Polaris and Invision but those are a bit outdated.
Thanks for your input.
Alois
"little bit" modded Excursion wink.gif - have tried many...but really don't need nothing fancy...so excursion is just find.

I used a ton of scripts in my time, and wouldn't you know it, i'm back to basic mirc. Anything you need can be easily added, so there's no point in using a potentially vulnerable script...

I use sentinel. It's kind of hard to get ahold of, but it's supposed to be at h**p://www.bararcade.com. If I ever find a place to upload something of that size, I'll post it here.

i use NNS (NoName Script) like many others and i find it very very good...

I use my own script. But if I had to choose a script I would probably choose Invision and strip it down a lot, as it's slow with all those functions.

if you have some time the best thing is to make your own script. It's not that difficult and it's fun.

At these days I use shell like real fxpers hehe. joke. And BitchX there.
I used NWNK but didn't like it because it ate lots of cpu :/ don't know why.
Sometimes using NNS with bnc.

Best script I've ever tested is NNS.
jpno5

I use jsut plain mIRC. Although NN script is pretty nice. I find scripts to have too much junk I don't need. Plain mIRC works well for me.
fuze
@ windows: NNScript

for german folks the RA-Script is a good option...
DevilishCheese
Im currently using invsion right know, but im getting a little tired of it:p

Looking for a new script, might try Excursion. Invison has a lot of tools for any novice user who wants a good script for mIRC.

if im on my laptop IrcXmatrix script, pretty good if you remove some of the crap from it

other then that just plain mirc with a few addons
thorel
I use plain mIRC... If I need some addons I just make them or find one. I hate those scripts with an overload of useless features I never use anyways
LKM
I use Klient instead of mirc. Once it's configured, it fits my needs.
passi
I use this one attached. It's called IamC. There's a SDI and a MDI version.
