Full Version: WEPcrack v0.0.10
Dillinja
A tool that cracks 802.11 WEP encryption keys using RC4 key scheduling weakness.
Although this WEP exploit is largely redundant since the introduction of 802.11i with temporal key integrity protocol (TKIP), and the increased use of SSNs, it can still be a useful tool for wLAN sys admins/ end users.

For Linux OS.

Never used it...
better than Airsnort?
Dillinja
WEPcrack code was released about a week before airsnort, but airsnort would be considered more usable and perhaps more complete in collection and cracking.

Unfortunatly, living in Ireland, we are light years behind with wLAN technology (only 12 actual access points introduced in Feb this year) so we are more inclined to sit at home than go roaming!

LOL ouch dude ouch... here we have WiFi internet providers. Most of them all went Bankrupt and the rest are slowly sliding but we still have them... and In my city theres 40 hotspots tht are public and meant to be public not to mention the 10 or 12 universities that have entire campus coverage. smile.gif Yah i've used airsnort before it's not as good as people to crack it out to be... I mean we can sit there for a day and analyze the traffic and use a faster computer to break the encryption or we can just leave it someplace (in a car or whatever) and let it analyze for 7 days an break it in a minute. Not really time efficicient next time i go to my WiFi meetup i'll bring the program along and well give you a review of a good night of wardriving. smile.gif
