I've tried Dameware on my lan. Great tools, but i can't understant one thing :
I've a computer 192.168.0.2, Administrator, password

If i do
psinfo -d \\192.168.0.2 -u Administrator -p password -> Access denied

If i do
net use \\... -> don't work

I've tried Remote console with Dameware -> Some errors, then it works, after a few tries. BUT IT WORKS !!!

Someone can explain me why ?

I have also problems with dameware.. Don't think i work quite well.

perhaps the administrator has delete ipc$ admin$ c$
because Dameware transport its server file by ipc$
to make sure this you can scan remote computer port 445 is ipc$

yes bit if ipc$ doesn't exist, why dameware can works ?

On LAN ... humm ... very strange ...


maybe the computer is busy ?
no antivirus ... no firewall ... no services pacK ?

try this with an other version of dameware ...


see yours 139 and 445 ports ..
