I'm looking for some program which I can create with it services.
The most important thing is that I want to make the services with any "Display Name" I want.
All the programs I know can't make services with *spaces*.

I want something like this:
Ex: service.exe <name of service> <display name> <file.exe>

windows resource kit include 2 command line tools for this issue;
you can check them out;

instsrv.exe
srvany.exe

for the spaces try and use quotes ("") around a set of words

Ex: service.exe "blah blah" "more blah blah"

Nice.. I'we been looking for that kind of tool ofr a long time... my AV took the last one i had.

serv.exe is a nice tool.

When I create the service, it tells me:
The service is not responding to the control function.

and it doesn't start the service

Yeap depends on the exe u trying to install. I had to play around with this for
a long time to get the bloody thing to work.

Note if u tried to take an original service and simply change the service path and exe u will get that error. WHEN windows install the service specific registry keys with legacy information is added to to the registry for that particular exe / service. So that strategy wont work.

My suggestion is to check this
tool out, it allows u to add any exe with any name and any description and any path to the service list.
