Full Version: Msn Client For *nix

hey guys when MS rlsed msn6 they introduced a new protocol for msn caled msnp9 or soemthing... anyway since then the client my friend was using cannot work anymore.. for some reason.
is there a new msn client for *nix or updates etc...
ive never endevoured to put a chat program on my linux box as i use my windows box to do all the chat crap..
constructive comments are quite helpfull.

Amsn is the best open source MSN messenger client for Linux.It's really fast and stable too.

it support Yahoo, ICQ , AIM and MSN .
but it`s GUI , mmm seems good ? no no !
but it`s better than nothing !

i highly recommend AMSN too .

if you're using GTK+ I strongly recommend Gaim...ahh....gtk.... Or if you prefer wt (Yech!) there's kopete.

amsn all the way. It will work on most OS's just install TCL. or you can try their new 'linux installer'.

yes me too, I recommend Gaim, for few reasons:
1- it's on sourceforge.net, a dynamic projet.
2- it's open source.
3- it's rulezz!!!

Then use Kopete. Kopete supports transfers amongst other things...
