Full Version: Can't Access Network Drives Anymore..
i have deleted some services to secure a server, rebooted and now i can't access the network drives anymore... anyone knows wich service the network drives are using.. would help me much.. only the name is enough
if i remember correctly, ther service is called workstation.
Workstation / Server and the RPC services should be working normally. And really this is not the way to secure a server.
Regards, Dinos
all working but i still doesn't see the network share
perhabs u have deleted the guest account so u cannot view the shares !
there is a topic or i should say a list of services here in this forums, but i forgto wat the topic is. U shldn't have deleted it, u shld just stop the services..
I think you are referring to Netbios, or File & Printer Sharing for Windows Networks. Just re add them to your default adapter.
ok gonna try it, hopefully i get my 800gb share back
